I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, Emma Healy, Registrar at Farlington. I am here to try and make your life a little easier when choosing a school for your daughter and to guide you through our registration process.

After your tour of Farlington and a meeting with our Headmistress, we hope you will want to proceed with applying for a place, in which case you will need to complete a Registration Form and a non-refundable registration fee of £80.

Entry procedures vary depending on the age of your daughter and I advise you to look at the appropriate pages on this website, or better still, send for a prospectus.

Once your daughter has been offered and accepted a place at Farlington, we arrange induction procedures. Special activity afternoons are organised in June for all our new girls, at which time they will meet their fellow students and new form teachers. Parents are invited to tea and a talk from the Headmistress and will have the opportunity to voice any queries or worries. A comprehensive information pack is also given to parents at these events.

For girls new to the Senior School there is an additional induction day in September. This takes place the day before the official start of term. There is a huge change from prep or primary school life to senior school life, and it is important that new girls have an opportunity to familiarise themselves with their new surroundings before all the pupils return.

I am always happy to answer any queries you may have. Above all we want to make your daughter’s entrance to Farlington as smooth as possible.
