Farlington’s Upper Sixth students gained fabulous results this year:
55% A grades (with over 20% of girls gaining straight A grades), 32% B grades and 100% A-D.

Mrs Goyer was full of praise for the students’ success. “The girls have worked incredibly hard and deserve this great success. They are a terrific group of young people and at a time of such fierce competition for university places, it is so good to see them fulfil their dreams and go on to their chosen courses and careers.”

Our A level students achieved a fantastic 3rd place nationally in the Daily Telegraph's Smaller Independent Schools League Table.

93% of girls who took their GCSEs in 2009 gained 5 or more at A*- C. Mrs Goyer said, “All the girls can be proud of what they have achieved; they have given themselves a great foundation for A level and beyond. Really impressive is that in the 11 subjects where every grade was a pass at C or above, 70% of grades were A*/A. I am even more pleased that the girls achieved their academic success at the same time as being fully committed to many other activities in School and the wider community.”
