In the Nursery and Reception, activities cover the following areas:

  • Personal, social & emotional development
  • Communication, language and literature
  • Problem solving, reasoning & numeracy
  • Knowledge and understanding of the world
  • Physical development
  • Creative development

Parents are given more detailed information about key curriculum areas at Parent Induction evenings.

In Year 1 and Year 2, girls follow an enhanced National Curriculum programme.

Mini Pots of Care

Girls from Farlington joined more than 200,000 children across the UK to take part in Mini Pots of Care, an exciting and creative fundraising activity for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Drawing Master Class

Girls in P1 thoroughly enjoyed an Art Master Class given by parent Mark Weighton.     Mr. Weighton demonstrated to the girls with the help of his vibrant painting of objects against a jungle background, how shapes can appear to be 3D despite being painted on a flat canvas.
