Parents are given more detailed information about key curriculum areas at Parent Induction evenings. In Year 1 and Year 2, girls follow an enhanced National Curriculum programme. Below are examples of the regular enrichment activities Pre-Prep girls enjoy.

Arundel Wetlands

Prep 1 enjoyed a visit to Arundel Wetlands Centre. In the morning the girls experienced the ‘Pond Explores” activity where they all had the opportunity to go pond dipping and identify the weird and wonderful creatures they found living below the surface. After a short break to have lunch the girls were taken into the theatre to learn how different animals adapt to their own habitats.

To end the day everyone was given bags of grain to go and feed the ducks, geese and many, many ducklings.

Fathers' Day

Year 2 hosted a Fathers' Day Tea at Farlington where the brave Dads participated in a penalty shoot out on the sports field and then had the further challenge of creating a castle out of marshmallows and pasta, with the tallest and strongest winning.
