In this happy, vibrant and friendly community there is a lot of laughter and fun mixed in with the hard work.

Staff are well qualified, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children. We follow the National Curriculum but add significantly to it. We have specialist teachers in English, Mathematics, Science, PE, Drama, Modern Languages, Music, Home Economics and Art. Facilities are excellent. At the end of Prep 6 all girls take the national SATs examinations and our results are consistently excellent.

Extra curricular activities take place at lunch time and after school. They include riding, team sports, art, music, drama, crafts, judo and many more.

We offer a ‘before school club’ from 7.45am and girls can stay in school, supervised, until 5.00pm to help working parents.

Opera Brava

Members of Opera Brava, Britain’s leading outdoor opera touring company, gave girls in P3 and 4 a fascinating introduction to opera. They demonstrated, for example, how to breathe properly and how the meaning of the words is reflected in the mood of the music.

Hooke Court
Girls in Prep 5 visit the beautiful Hooke Court in Dorset each year where they experience many Tudor activities, including a Tudor banquet, dancing, cooking, shipbuilding and crafts.
