In this happy, vibrant and friendly community there is a lot of laughter and fun mixed in with the hard work.

Staff are well qualified, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children. We follow the National Curriculum but add significantly to it. We have specialist teachers in English, Mathematics, Science, PE, Drama, Modern Languages, Music, Home Economics and Art. Facilities are excellent. At the end of Prep 6 all girls take the national SATs examinations and our results are consistently excellent.

Extra curricular activities take place at lunch time and after school. They include riding, team sports, art, music, drama, crafts, judo and many more.

We offer a ‘before school club’ from 7.45am and girls can stay in school, supervised, until 5.00pm to help working parents.

Bollywood

In June Prep 5 enjoyed an Indian day designed to enhance the girls' understanding of life in India - customs, religions, daily routines, clothing food and education. The morning was spending taking part in an Indian Dance Workshop. The dance routine which the girls devised was showcased at Prep Prize Giving.

In the afternoon two of the girls' mothers came to talk about life in India. The Mums looked stunning dressed in their traditional saris and brought in examples of other traditional clothes.

Isle of Wight

Year 6 and staff visited the Isle of Wight in June for the girls' last trip whilst in the Prep School. Every day was packed full of activities ranging from fossil hunting to a theatre workshop. On the beach the girls designed sand scu;tures and ended the week with a welcome session of sea sports.
