In Farlington Sixth Form there is no gender stereotyping, no area or activity from which girls are excluded or in which girls cannot excel. Research shows that girls who attend single-sex schools right through to A Level achieve more highly as post-graduates than those who go to co-educational six forms. Do not believe the myth that a co-educational sixth form is a better preparation for university; the best preparation for university is self-awareness, self-confidence and personal achievement, all of which Farlington girls have in abundance.
This is a warm, happy and supportive community where each girl matters. Farlington Sixth Form is very effective at helping girls strike the balance between greater independence and greater responsibility and preparing them for the pressures and challenges of leadership in modern life.
Members of the Sixth Form are role models for the younger girls and outstanding ambassadors for the School.
