Warnham Walk
Girls from Year 7, armed with clipboards and questionnaires, set off from Farlington to walk to Warnham. The activity combined geography and history, with the girls looking at woodland management and village life, as well as the history of Warnham Manor and church. On returning to Farlington there was an observation quiz and further discussions which took place in the new Outdoor Learning Space.
“I really enjoyed the Warnham Walk and I found out a great deal about the village. It was great to learn about how the woodland was managed and about all the different services in Warnham. I hope we get to enjoy the outdoors again!” Summer Raemason
“The Warnham Walk was a really fun trip and I enjoyed learning about the geography and history of the village. It was interesting to find out about Warnham Manor and St Margaret’s church in particular. My favourite part of the day though was the woodland walk. It was good to use the outdoor classroom too!” Maya Amin
