Red Dragon Endurance

The three-day Red Dragon Festival of Endurance at Builth Wells in mid-Wales is traditionally the last big event of the endurance riding season, with competitors and their horses from all over the country travelling to the Royal Welsh Showground for the unique atmosphere and the wonderful but tough riding through the beautiful Cambrian mountains.

Amongst the wealth of classes is the 124km Golden Dragon which was won by Katie Bedwin (Year 9) on the aptly named Burfield Red Dragon. This was a fantastic achievement for Katie.

Katie attended the Endurance G.B National Awards Ceremony in Derbyshire on Saturday 26th November and was awarded the National Endurance Junior Champion title for 2011.
