The Ball 2012

Farlington’s annual Sixth Form Leavers’ Ball was set in the beautiful surroundings of Wildwood Golf and Country Club, which looked truly magnificent on a rare sunny evening. The staff at Wildwood were fantastic and the delicious three-course dinner was enjoyed amongst much lively conversation.

The entertainment began in earnest (after the speeches), with an energetic disco. The dance floor was packed with parents, teachers and pupils dancing together to sounds past and present. It was delightful to spend an evening with the Farlington community, reflecting on the achievements of the Sixth Form and welcoming the Year 12s into their final year at Farlington. The evening was full of mixed emotions. Although it is sad to say goodbye to our leavers, it is exciting to send them on their way for their next chapter in their life. We wish them every success.
