Musical Success

Music Director, Mrs Anne Stearns was delighted with the excellent Trinity Guildhall Music Examination results achieved yesterday. Twenty girls from across the Prep and Senior School and the Sixth Form took instrumental examinations in singing, cello, flute, piano, violin, saxophone, recorder and clarinet. The girls, along with the peripatetic instrumental teachers, have all worked very hard preparing for these examinations; many took part in the recent Music Makers’ concert which gives the girls the opportunity to play their exam pieces in front of an audience.

The examiner, Marianne Olyver shared some very positive "off the record" comments about the high standard of the candidates and excellent teaching of our visiting music teachers.

The next examination date is in June, when we expect many of our 160 music students will be entered for their next grade.
