I was pregnant with my now 4-year old daughter when I first visited Farlington, as I had heard so much about it and was anxious to get her name down at such a wonderful school. At that time, there was no Nursery as part of the Prep School so was so I was delighted when the Nursery opened in time to accept Helen shortly after her third birthday. She settled in in no time and looks forward to school each day just as much (if not more) today than that first day. And…what a terrific time she has had in her short tenure! Helen is in such a nurturing environment filled with cuddles and expectations that are certainly fair and necessary for this age-group as well as challenges provided.

Co-operation and teamwork are encouraged at all ages across the Prep School, as several age groups and classes can be observed to be playing and learning together during outdoor play time. It is really great to witness the older girls from the Prep School play with the children in Reception and Nursery. The “family" environment really encourages nurturing and empathy. We are so happy that our daughter has had such a wonderful first exposure to school!
