Harvest Assembly
Girls throughout the Prep School, plus the boys and girls in the Nursery, all joined together to create a wonderful Harvest Assembly, full of thanks for the world around us. The children had collected coppers in special collecting boxes for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Mr David Whyberd, himself a guide-dog owner had brought along his beautiful black labrador, Yarris, Mr Whyberd gave a talk about the training of the guide dogs and his experiences with Yarris. Yarris delighted the audience with his impeccable demonstration of guiding his owner to the left and right, and also with his calm demeanour throughout the proceedings.
