What did you do today?

We have one very important rule in the Nursery Class which is ‘we are all friends together’. I like this rule because it makes me feel safe and secure.

Nursery is always a bright and cheerful place, buzzing with excitement and there is a room full of discovery. This is somewhere I like to go. I can always be myself and am always valued for what I do.

Nursery

When I enter the classroom in the morning I put
my animal name card on our ark before settling
to one of the activities on offer that day. I never
know what to choose. I could go into the writing
corner, practice writing my name in the shaving
foam, play with Frump on the computer, paint,
build sand castles, count with Compare Bears,
pour lentils to make tea, listen to a story in the
listening station, build a wall for ‘Humpty Dumpty’, play hairdressers’ or maybe join the dinosaur hunt,
both indoors and out? I always like to get going quickly as there are so many activities to discover before snack time!
