Reception
Reception Curriculum The curriculum for all Reception Classes is based on the mandatory framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS), although, here at Farlington, we add much more depth and scope and, by adding more challenges, we see excellent results, particularly in the development of literacy and reasoning skills.
We help the girls to develop strengths in the following areas, as these are the building blocks in the foundation for future learning and development:-
- personal and emotional well-being
- a positive attitude towards learning
- social skillsattention skills
- perseverance
