My daughter settled very quickly into Prep 6 and has made lots of new friends. Straight away she was given special duties which have given her a real sense of importance and belonging. She commented that the lessons are exciting and interesting. Happy, in this positive environment to learning, she is set to thrive academically and in confidence. She enjoyed getting muddy on her first cross-country run and is looking forward to starting Fencing club and performing in the drama production.

We just wanted to write to say how delighted we are to have found Farlington. You have a wonderful, warm and caring school of which we all feel very much part.
Your staff are fantastic - from the teachers and teaching assistants through to the catering and ground staff. We cannot praise them highly enough.
Anya has had a lovely first term in Reception with Mrs Dodd. Cara settled in very quickly and now actually enjoys going to school. She is happy and takes real pride in her work. The change in her is enormous. Thank you!

As a prospective parent, I was immediately impressed by the happy, carefree environment of the Prep School where girls walked and skipped to lessons confidently and purposefully and the teachers nodded a friendly welcome in passing. As a Prep School parent, I couldn't have asked for more support, encouragement and enthusiasm from the teaching staff, headed up by the amazing Mrs Baggs! As a new Senior School parent, I am delighted by the effortlessly smooth transition my daughter has made to the more independent environment of Year 7.

Both Kitty and Flora have flourished at Farlington Prep, and it was certainly one of our best decisions to send the girls to your school! Flora in particular has never come home from school having "had a bad day" which is incredible when you consider she has been at Farlington for 6 years.

Farlington Prep School is a lovely school – the setting and buildings support the school’s very positive approach. The Prep School is small enough to have a family atmosphere where every girl can be nurtured but large enough to be able to offer a tremendous range of activities – for example the Natalie Van De Braam Ballet Academy which is available as an after school activity, offering a very high standard of ballet; the girls put on amazing shows and do very well in the ballet exams. At Farlington, the girls are allowed to experience nature and natural play in the wonderful playground where the setting allows their imagination to run wild – they establish imaginary schools, hotels, and ‘companies’ with ‘rocks’ as their currency. Farlington does very well academically, with many of the Prep 6 girls being offered bursaries to a range of senior schools, but it achieves this in a very unpressurised and nurturing way, where every girl is encouraged to reach their individual potential.

The experience of being a pupil at Farlington Prep. has changed our daughter dramatically. She no longer is happy to be in the middle, and is aiming much higher, and she has improved hugely in all subjects. We still sometimes cannot believe how lucky we are that both our daughters attend Farlington, and are so happy to be there. You and your staff are doing an incredible job and we would like to thank you all for your hard work.
