Parent Testimonials
It seems strange to be thinking of the ‘next stage’, but as we enter the confusing world of ‘UCAS and beyond’ I would like to say that I have been very impressed with the support my daughter has received in Lower Sixth so far, regarding her future plans.
Various ‘life skills’ sessions with her tutors have been very informative and the careers talks by various professionals have offered the girls a good range of ideas for future pathways – allowing a closer look at the reality of that chosen job and the entrance paths into it.
She is now considering a number of options and I know she will be able to seek advice whenever needed, from caring staff who really know her well and understand her strengths and weaknesses.
Thank you.
Emily's seven years at Farlington have been the happiest she could have hoped for. Throughout the Prep and Senior school, she has enjoyed and benefitted from excellent relations with her teachers and has always been encouraged to reach her potential. As she has progressed through Farlington, Emily has also been fortunate to be part of a close knit and supportive year group, and she has made strong and valuable friendships. Farlington School's work ethic, environment and ethos has truly enabled our daughter to blossom into a confident, able and optimistic young woman.

My daughter joined this excellent school in September. Her all-round enthusiasm for the school prompted us to send our younger daughter here as well, sooner than we were planning to. She is flourishing at Farlington. She has great respect for the "amazing, inspirational teachers" and is looking forward, with confidence, to taking her GCSEs. Achieving the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award this Spring will prepare her for the school's Expedition to Zambia in Summer 2013.

The quality of teaching at Farlington is outstanding, and all teachers are excellent role models. This is evident by brilliant academic results. The very full extra-curricular programme ensures a broad choice, enabling girls to discover their skills and talents, other than academic ones. This allows development of character and self-fulfilment. The whole Farlington approach, I believe, enriches and ensures well-rounded girls in preparation for the modern world. To measure quality is renowned to be difficult; you must visit the school, and meet the girls and staff to experience it first-hand.

Fern has a great affection for the happy and thriving environment Farlington offers. She has accomplished so much over the past 7 years and gained the confidence to take the next step into the big wide world.
Farlington has a lovely atmosphere, happy and nurturing with enthusiastic staff. Both our girls were at Farlington for 7 years, throughout their secondary education. Both became head boarders with associated responsibilities including organising the Boarding House Christmas Entertainment. It has been a good journey with happy memories. The school has prepared them well and they have left having fulfilled their educational potential as delightful, confident, beautiful young women. We are so proud. Thank you Farlington!
My daughter has flourished at Farlington, becoming more confident academically and keen to take part in many extra-curricular activities. The members of the teaching and pastoral staff are supportive and always ready to help with sound advice to parents and guidance for pupils.
My daughter joined Farlington in Year 7, coming from a state junior school. She settled quickly and the transition was a smooth one. She is flourishing at Farlington both academically and personally. Farlington has given her the confidence to organise a cake sale for Help the Heroes, persuading her classmates to bring in cakes which raised over £190.
