There are some students who require access arrangements for their public examinations. We test all of the students as they enter the Sixth Form to make sure we have up to date information and can co-ordinate any programme of support required. This support ranges from advising the students in how to use their access arrangements, curriculum support to facilitate the learning of other subjects and providing readers or scribes for public examinations. All of the support is on a one-to-one basis and is specific to each individual.
Sixth Form Library
Although the Sixth Form students have access to the main school Library, there is a dedicated Sixth Form Library, which is situated in the Sixth Form Centre. This Library has books that specific to their studies as well as extension materials. There are computers available and a photo copier for Sixth Form use. Sixth Formers are encouraged to use the Library during personal study time.
